Lost Ep. 3.05 - The Cost of Living

Wow, last night's Lost was amazing! It was very Eko-centric, and we learned why he built the church on the beach (since he owed Yemi a church when he killed off the warlords). So we learned some stuff about Yemi/Eko, but not too much that we didnt know already. The kid that they got to play the young Eko looked just like him! And then Yemi came to the island, to tell Eko that he needed to confess. But Eko just said that there's nothing he needs to confess. He lived his life the best he could, and he doesnt regret it, nor want to confess. But the Yemi on the island, he's supposed to be dead, and the body was missing from the beechcraft. Is it the smoky monster taking human form? Since Jack's dead dad was also seen on the island, and his body was missing. Does this mean that Walt was dead when Shannon kept seeing him around the island? Maybe he was, and the monster took over his body.. I hope Michael sailed away with a monster that was inhabiting Walt's body.

So the losties went over to the Swan station, only to find that there's another station somewhere that has a mysterious guy with an eye patch. Who is this guy? Docarzt over on The Tail Section says it is NOT the guy with the glass eye who carried around the video in the hollowed out Bible. (source: Lost recap by the doc). And on the subject of the Swan hatch, Paolo and Nikki really bug me. Yes, Nikki is hot, but they are so annoying, and just dont fit in. So after Locke and the gang find Eko inches away from death after being thrown around by the monster, Eko whispers in Locke's ear that "we're next"... I hope it's "we" as in Nikki and Paolo.

And then the whole Ben/Juliet/Jack thing. I'm so confused! Are Juliet and Ben playing mind games, or are they for real? I guess next week Ben will be cut open on the operating table, so we'll see what Jack does...

Anyway, here's a good short overview by my favorite writer over at buddytv (Oscar Dahl):
